The historic hot springs are part of the natural geothermal system that runs through Yellowstone National Park. Chico features two hot springs pools, which are open year-round. The large pool operates at approximately 96 degrees Fahrenheit, and has plenty of room for swimming and playing. The smaller pool is approximately 103 degrees.

The Chico Saloon is located at the south end of the pool, and features live music on Friday and Saturday nights. The saloon also has shuffleboard, foosball, and a pool table.
