Lodging Within Yellowstone
There are great advantages to staying within the park boundaries. First, you'll spend less time on the road, and more time seeing the things you want to see. Not only will it reduce the amount of time you spend driving, but during the high season, traffic can move slowly as tourists stop to look at wildlife on or near the roads.
Another advantage of staying inside the park boundaries is that you can get up early and see the sights before the crowds arrive. The sun rises early in Yellowstone during the spring and summer!
